Girls get ready for competition season

Six members of TNAG's competition squad participated in a friendly test competition against Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club at Ipswich today.
The event is part of the girls' preparation for the forthcoming County and Regional grades competitions, the latter of which will be held at this same venue. Pipers Vale are one of the leading clubs in the country and therefore it was a very worthwhile exercise for TNAG to test themselves against their Ipswich counterparts.
TNAG's Chloe White and Summer Kenzitt competed at Club Grade 2, Polina Polyakova at Club Grade 4, Lucy Jarvis at Elite Compulsory 4 and Emily Crowe and Angel Kenzitt at Elite Compulsory 3.
Sara-Jane Inglis, Head Coach of TNAG, said "Although this was only a friendly competition, it was the first time that TNAG have competed as a club and it was a very special day for that reason. The girls did well against extremely tough opponents, and we certainly showed that as a club we can already compete alongside the very best. We came away from the event encouraged, but with a clear direction of the work we need to do with the girls in the coming weeks so as to make sure we perform at our best in the real tests ahead."
