One of the Academy's senior gymnasts, Summer-Jade Kenzitt, has been forced to retire from the sport due to a recent diagnosis of spina bifida.
Summer has served the club faithfully from its inception and has picked up numerous honours during her competitive career. She is the current Norfolk FIG champion and regional FIG challenge champion. She also picked up the Best Attitude award for 2009.
Summer will be sadly missed by all of the coaches and gymnasts at TNAG - she was a gymnast that always tried her best and had a lovely happy disposition which made her hugely popular with everybody.
Summer already shows signs of a talent for coaching and will be fast-tracked ito a coaching role with our young development groups to enable her to continue her involvement with the sport she loves.
