London Welcomes the World!

The World Artistic Gymnastics Championships get underway on Tuesday 13th October at the 02 arena is Greenwich, London. This is the first time that London has hosted the global championships and the first time that they have come to the UK since Birmingham was the host in 1993.
Many of you will be visiting the championships at some stage during the week, and others will no doubt be watching closely on television. We urge everyone to take in some of what will no doubt be a fantastic championships if they possibly can - the performances of the best gymnasts on the globe will be a huge inspiration to our young members at all levels.
Sara-Jane and Helen Inglis are working in the media department at the championships from 12-19 October inclusive. There are various changes/cancellations to intermediate and squad training sessions as a result of this. (All recreational and pre-school classes run as normal). Please check the squad noticeboards carefully. Please also be aware that there may b a delay in responding to calls and emails over this period.
